Santa Barbara City Elections 2021
Campaign for a Progressive Santa Barbara
In addition to the Sept. 14 recall election, City of Santa Barbara voters will be choosing a mayor and three city council members in the last of the City’s tradition of odd-year elections on Nov. 2.
The SB County Democratic Party has endorsed Mayor Cathy Murillo and Council Members Kristen Sneddon (District 4), Eric Friedman (District 5), and Meagan Harmon (District 6) for re-election. Two elections, two ballots, one goal–supporting the values of a Campaign for a Progressive Santa Barbara.
- Cathy Murillo
- Kristen Sneddon
- Eric Friedman
- Meagan Harmon
Murillo has been elected twice to the city council and served one term as mayor, and along with Members Sneddon, Friedman, and Harmon has worked diligently to fight for tenants’ rights, implement humane solutions to homelessness, and create good-paying union jobs in our community.
The Campaign for a Progressive Santa Barbara will be active this weekend with canvassing and phone banks marking its “Ballot Arrival Weekend of Action.” Sign up here to take part.
